Great Tea. When brewed sweet green smell.sweet taste initially on the tongue followed by mild fruit like after taste finishing with the slightly smokies flavour of what you expect an Oolong to be. Definitely worth the price glad I'd brought 300g.Nicely packed in 45 g amounts so it can last. Good postal service and cus toner follow up. Thanks

Upon opening I immediately smelt the honey flavor. After brewing, I quite enjoyed the subtle sweetness mixing with the oolong taste. Really a very special oolong tea.

Excellent Tea. I found this tea to be vibrant, sweet & full-bodied. It's a little pricey so it's probably one I would save for special occasions - but very good none the less

Another of my favorite, this tea is special and you know it the moment when you open the tea package. It is heavier and more mature than the rest of the teas out there. When brewed, even its colors is more brown, golden and darker than the rest. Like biting into a ripe and juicy fruit in mid-summer, this is what it reminds me of when drinking Dong Dong Ming Xiang. Embarking on an adventure with this tea is like swimming in a golden field of honey and heavenly flowers. Treat yourself well and give this golden drink a try.

I had a sample of this tea in one of my tea boxes and it proved to be a great start of a weekend. This Dong Ding was incredible throughout the Gongfu session (seven steeps total), starting with moderate floral notes and creamy mouthfeel followed by mild buttery notes and finishing with honey impression in throat. Along this profile, every sip is followed by clear notes of stone fruits and mild sweetness. I didn't try as much Dong Ding oolongs but this one was the best so far!

Loving this Dong Ding. Subtle coating of fruity layers envelopes your mouth along with hints of floral scents waking up the nostrils....feels good to be alive!

This tea is excellent and holds up to many steeps. It has a floral flavor, yes, but it's not necessarily flowery and reminds me more of fruit (maybe peaches) and nectar. It has great body and goes well with flavorful food.

Upon opening the pack this Oolong was beautifully dark green in colour and it oozed a milky/creamy/sweet floral fragrance. Now this has been rinsed just before my initial first steep it’s exuding a strong green and fresh smell. First steep – 25s – The tea is honey coloured with a gentle floral scent. The taste is stronger than the smell, it’s very floral and a little fruity with a toasted tang. It’s also sweet and fresh tasting, a lovely example of a stronger oolong. Second steep – 35s – Slight more floral now in fragrance. Again the same lovely fruitiness and strength but it’s sweeter than the first steep. It’s a dark sweetness similar to molasses but more subtle and fresh. Third steep – 45s – Now this smells like toasted fresh flowers and has darkened slightly but still remains virtually honey coloured. The green flavour has increased and reminds me of raw broccoli, also the sweetness is being a little overwhelmed by the toasted flavour but the floral notes keep it fresh. Overall this was a very nice oolong that whilst not committing to full strength was still fairly strong and flavourful. Very fresh and pungent. Suitable for people that love strong oolong or floral tea.

I received the Ming Xiang tea today. First, I will say that it's good. It is somewhat different than the previous Ming Xiang. If I were pushed to choose between them I would probably choose the former, only because I think it was a little more fruity, with a unique plum taste. However, a plus with this present Ming Xiang is that it seems to offer more infusions. Today, using a gaiwan I stopped at 6 infusions with good taste, and maybe could have had a couple more fair cups. The dry tea is noticeably darker on this tea more than the previous one, and it seems to be roasted more. Or maybe more fermented, I'm not sure. Anyway, it's a good tea and I'm satisfied with my first encounter with it.

My favorite tea of all! This tea has a wonderful sweetness, I make single cups during the day. I don't like to find myself without it, fortunately delivery is pretty quick :-)

I had never been much of an oolong fan and I had tried many of them. However, when I tried this Dong Ding Ming oolong I can't get enough. I love this tea and most especially that honey note that to me sets it a part from most teas. The only other tea that I have had that comes close is Darjeeling. What is so incredible, to me, about most of these teas is that you can get several brewings each time. I know that when I started ordering green and oolong teas from Taiwan and Japan the price was a bit of a shock as I mainly was drinking black Assam teas. These teas are infused just once, but when you consider it is actually preferable to re-infuse you really are getting 2, 3, or maybe 4 time the amount you would have to buy in a black tea. Being from the Southeastern USA I was brought up on iced tea and I must say that this tea makes the best iced tea ever. I brew it a bit strong and then sweeten it slightly with Agave syrup and add lemon or lime. Wow.......refreshing!!!!

This is superb, the best I've found online. What a flavor and aroma! I will be ordering it for the third time. I find that this tea holds up well in the second and third infusions. Not smoky like a supposedly similar tea from another well-known Taiwanese vendor.

Dong Ding is also known in Japan as takayama (tall mountain) and is not easy to find. Oolong of this sort is not very popular in Japan, but is well known to experts and it is there that I learned this to be the best variety of semi-green (partially fermented) tea. The Dong-Ding from 'Tea from Taiwan' is the strongest and most well flavored one I have tried (out of about 5 different sources) and is also quite reproducible, in other words, the same brewing procedure yields the same tea time after time. Since this tea is tightly packed 'leaf balls', it is quite appropriate to vacuum pack it, which is done, and I think this helps retain its unique flavor.

I have ordered tea from you once before, the "Dong Ding" Oolong tea, and it was very good, one of the best teas I've ever tried. Thank you.

The Dong Ding is indeed a wonderful tea with a most pleasant aftertaste. Nothing more to be desired as for this kind of oolong tea.
