Teapot makes a difference
First time I brewed the Dong Ding I thought it was too heavy and smoky. But I brewed the tea again this morning and in the evening after dinner. The only difference I made was switching the teapot I brewed it in and the difference was enormous. All of the smoky/roasted flavor I had the first time was smoothed away and I could finally taste the sweet, honey flavor and strong aroma that the tea actually possesses. I actually began liking the tea and can see drinking it more regularly! It's not like the Da Yu Ling or Long Feng Xia, or, the more delicate Dong Dings I've have, but, it's not bad. This confirmed what I always say that the clay makes a big difference.
